Location:
Washington, DC (remote options). Senior – Mid‑Senior level. Full‑time.
Salary range: $136,807 – $194,040 per year.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Analyst to support Compensation, Talent & Performance for Workday Systems. This role involves managing and optimizing Workday compensation processes, ensuring efficient operation and continuous improvement of the Workday Advanced Compensation System and the Workday Talent & Performance modules. The ideal candidate will leverage their Workday expertise to meet employee and business needs, collaborating closely with stakeholders such as HR Ops, Compensation, Performance, Benefits, and IT teams.

- Partner with business units to view every decision through a customer lens.
- Reimagine processes to deliver best‑in‑class results using people, process, data, and technology.
- Act as SME for designated business units: attend meetings, document workflows, and serve as a trusted advisor.
- Develop business requirements, analyze data, and lead digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Maintain a three‑year business and technology solution roadmap.
- Configure and manage the Workday Talent and Performance module (performance reviews, talent reviews, calibration, career development, succession planning).
- Launch Annual Merit, Bonus, Mid‑year, and Annual performance review cycles.
- Write requirements to obtain data from enterprise teams and analyze trends.
- Communicate with business leadership to align initiatives with roadmaps and priorities.
- Champion system enhancements, customizations, and upgrades to improve user experience.
- Perform tenant configuration, data loads (EIBs), and sandbox management.
- Escalate bottlenecks and ensure seamless transition during deployments.
- Collaborate across domains to ensure consistent terminology and processes.
- Manage post‑implementation enhancement requests and prioritize technology projects.
- Support project management of cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring successful integration and adoption.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to leadership and peers.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12–15 years of Business Relationship Management / Business Analysis experience with multiple SaaS and Cloud systems.
- In‑depth knowledge of Workday HRIS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst implementing and managing Workday’s Core and Advanced Compensation work streams, as well as Talent and Performance modules.
- Hands‑on expertise launching annual merit, bonus, and performance review cycles.
- Proficiency with Workday Report Writer and advanced reporting techniques.
- Understanding of HRIS security concepts and data privacy best practices.
- Experience managing SLAs and acting as single point of contact for production issues.
- Ability to write module design documents and test cases.
- Experience with system integrations and data migration projects (plus).
- Strong knowledge of interface workflows and underlying database tables required.
- Strong communication skills: oral presentations, writing, negotiation, active listening, and influencing positive team dynamics.
- Ability to work in a multi‑project environment and support multiple internal customers/departments.
- Experience conducting business requirement workshops.
- Strategic mindset with tactical execution.
- Project management skills: pipeline management, demand generation, deadlines, prioritization, and process.
- Deep understanding of day‑to‑day operations and business needs of business units.
- High‑level negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to influence others and break down organizational silos.
