This key individual develops and prepares Department of Energy (DOE) training materials in highly technical scientific subject areas and conducts training on classification and sensitive information policies, guidelines, and procedures at DOE facilities.

• Nuclear weapons design and utilization
• Classification and declassification policy
• Nuclear weapons safeguards and security

• Security Clearance:
  Candidates MUST possess an active DOE Q clearance or an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience &
  
  Skills:
• At least two (2) years of direct training experience with modern training techniques.
• At least two (2) years of security classification experience.
• Highly desirable: DOE qualified as a Derivative Classifier, Derivative Declassifier, and UCNI RO. If absent, commit to obtaining these certifications within a prescribed period following hiring.

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Highly desirable:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s in a scientific discipline (physical sciences, engineering, or mathematics).
