As a
Production Operator
, with direction from the Lead and Supervisor, you will produce various food ingredients, learning good manufacturing practices, and how to follow standardized formulas for weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials. Production Operators play a critical role in food defense and food safety. The 1st shift operating hours Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

• Loading and unloading of materials.
• Packaging of finished products.
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment.
• Cleaning of machines and facilities.
• Employees holding this position play a critical role in food defense and food safety. It is the responsibility of the employee to alert upper management to any food safety issues or concerns that they may encounter.
• Play a critical role in assessing raw materials for conformance and consistency.

You Bring:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be 18 years old to work in a plant job.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
• At least one year production or food service experience preferred.
• Due to the nature, the position requires the ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) including hard hat, eye protection and in some cases other area specific PPE needs (e.g. ear protection, respirator).

The hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. The hourly wage is $23.00.
