Job Title: Nurse Supervisor - House
Job Description: The Nurse Supervisor - House is responsible for overseeing night shift operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring patient and family needs are met efficiently. The role works in a 24‑hour hospital setting, providing leadership in the absence of clinical managers.
Responsibilities- Ensure hospital operations continue and patient and family needs are met.
- Communicate with on‑call administrative staff about significant occurrences.
- Support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelor’s in Nursing required;
Master’s preferred. - Current licensure by the Maryland State Board as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association).
- At least five years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, including direct clinical contact, material management, medical staff coordination, and patient admission departments.
- Two years of management experience.
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry and retrieval and Microsoft specialty products.
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of English.
- Effective communication of complex information succinctly.
Pay Range: $43.36 – 62.67 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions are paid within the stated hourly rates.
