Employment Type: Full time / 36 hours weekly (Night Shift 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)

Description: The Clinical Nurse reports to the Director of Acute Care and is responsible for providing bedside care to a diverse population of acutely ill patients. The role requires demonstrating passion, utilizing nursing process skills, and ensuring high‑quality care across various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a virtual RN (vRN) and certified nursing assistant to deliver excellent patient care within an acute care setting.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver quality care to medical and telemetry patients, particularly stroke/neuro patients.
• Facilitate best practices by identifying and evaluating nursing interventions and communicating results to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education for all medical diagnoses (respiratory, cardiac, GI, renal, neuro, endocrine).

Required:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). If the BSN/MSN is not held at hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain it within a specific timeframe.
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Competency in electronic patient management systems.

Preferred:

• BSN or MSN.
• Certified MS‑RN in nursing recommended.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.

Pay Range: $38.92 – $55.68 per hour (based on experience, skills and education; may vary by location).
