Previous travel assignment experience and ability to function in high-pressure situations.
Description:
The role involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency department. Responsibilities include managing urgent and emergent patient needs. You will be required to perform IV starts and phlebotomy. A patient ratio of 1:4 is expected. Call is required every other weekend and holiday rotation. You may come into contact with Covid patients. All employees are required to have the flu vaccine without exemptions.
Training will be provided on the unit before charge duties. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Skilled in charge, triage, and preceptor experience is also preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams as needed. Daily patient visits can average around 150. This position may not provide scrubs, and navy blue is the required color.
