Registered Nurse Summary of Position

To supervise and provide quality nursing care to meet residents’ needs, coordinate and conduct activities of daily living, address family/social concerns, document and contribute to health status assessments and care plans, administer medications, and perform skilled treatments and procedures.

• Registered nurse with a current State of TN or multi‑state license.
• Must be able to read regulations and write clearly.
• CPR certification.
• Must be able to communicate in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Ability to effectively manage and direct subordinates.
• Physical requirements attached.

• Provide daily supervision to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents in Skilled Nursing Unit, Assisted Living Unit, Wellness Center, Dementia Unit, Independent Unit, as assigned.
• Participate in the admission of new residents.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
• Respond to residents’ call system promptly and courteously.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re‑assessment of each resident.
• Consistently demonstrate hospitality behavior and the core values of quality, respect, service, and integrity.
