Gromax is seeking an experienced Toolmaker, Wire EDM Specialist, or Precision Grinder to join our custom tooling team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can read prints, hold tight tolerances, and solve complex manufacturing challenges. We are especially interested in candidates with Wire EDM expertise or manual horizontal grinding experience
. Unlike traditional centerless grinding environments, our work focuses on precision tooling and complex square components.
- Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges
- Operate precision machining and grinding equipment
- Program and operate Wire EDM equipment (where applicable)
- Read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Inspect components to tight tolerances
- Troubleshoot tooling and manufacturing issues
- Tool & Die, Toolmaker, Precision Machining, Grinding, or Wire EDM experience
- Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving skills
- Experience with precision measuring equipment
- Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work
