We’re looking for a Major Projects Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Design team based in Gerrards Cross / Speke. Hours
: 40 hours per week – flexible hours available.

• Lead electrical design for large, complex construction projects from concept through to construction, ensuring sustainable, compliant, and cost‑effective delivery.
• Integrate design across mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines, ensuring quality control and driving innovation for high‑value projects.
• Provide high‑quality electrical designs and specifications that meet client requirements and brief.
• Represent electrical engineering in project design meetings, give technical advice, establish solutions and agree concepts.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, industry standards and Kier Design procedures.
• Promote and implement sustainable design solutions and BIM initiatives throughout design and construction phases.

• Providing high‑quality electrical designs and specifications.
• Giving high‑level technical advice in electrical building services engineering.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
• Promoting sustainable design solutions.
• Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges during design and construction phases.

• Degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering and a member of CIBSE or IET, Chartered Engineer, or working towards becoming chartered.
• Demonstrated capability to fulfill the accountabilities of the role with high knowledge and experience in the discipline.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a wider business audience and apply quality procedures and document control.
• Ability to pass the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.
