Assistant Manager – Education Counselling

Beyond Immigration is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Manager – Education Counselling to lead our counselling team and help students achieve their global education goals. This is a leadership role ideal for someone who excels at team management, student counselling, and driving performance in a fast-growing study-abroad environment.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of study abroad counsellors.
Set monthly/quarterly targets and ensure team performance through effective monitoring.
Conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge, counselling skills, and conversion effectiveness.
Ensure high-quality guidance and maintain service excellence across all student interactions.
Student Counselling & Admissions Strategy
Provide expert guidance on study destinations, courses, universities, eligibility, and admissions processes.
Review student profiles and ensure counsellors recommend suitable and realistic study options.
Support critical cases, escalated queries, and high-value student applications.
Operational & Process Management
Oversee documentation, application submissions, and follow-up with students throughout the admissions lifecycle.
Coordinate closely with Admissions, Visa, and Marketing teams to streamline processes.
Track student progress and maintain updated records on CRM systems and reporting dashboards.
Business Development & Outreach
Contribute to strategies to increase student walk-ins, leads, and conversions.
Represent the company at seminars, webinars, school/college events, and university sessions.
Build strong relationships with universities, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in overseas education counselling.
Minimum 1–2 years of team-leading or supervisory experience .
Strong understanding of global education systems (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe).
Excellent communication, counselling, and team management skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment and handle pressure.
Graduate/MBA preferred.
