Packaging Development Specialist - Hair Oil

Key responsibilities:

- Should have Packaging Development background and in depth knowledge of Innovative packaging systems development, introduction of new packaging format through in-depth consumer in sighting.
- Interaction with brand on NPD’s.
- Needs to know how to work out packaging costs, and should have ability to communicate ideas and concepts to brand clearly and crisply.
- Interaction with vendors on development of samples, concepts.
- Testing of packaging as well as ability to apply different tests to new pack concepts.
- Analyze results and propose a way forward
- Preparation specifications and BOM for concepts /NPD’s.
- Knowledge/previous experience of SAP interface an added advantage.
- Travel to locations /coordinate between manufacturing, supply chain & vendors, conduct functional testing including plant trials for the decoration, filling and packing process, lab testing, shelf life studies, stability studies, transit worthiness studies, production startup, improving line efficiencies

Qualification and experience

- Postgraduate diploma from IIP along with minimum 5-8 years working experience of FMCG in packaging development
- Should have knowledge /previous experience on foods category. Knowledge of materials used, test methods and procedures to be used.
- Clear idea of how packaging for any new product is proposed & selected.
- Female candidate preference.
