Operators are responsible for operating machines in support of TSS Giddings. We believe that potential matters more than experience

• Operates semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
• Oversees machine operation throughout the production run to ensure part conformance.
• May be required to run more than one machine simultaneously per standard work.
• Cross trains in other areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Previous CNC experience is a plus but NOT required!

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in English; both written and verbal
• Must have a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment

This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, bending, and reaching throughout an entire shift. Must be able to move and handle varying sized products.

• Safety Glasses to be worn at all times when on the production floor
• Safety Shoes to be worn at all times when on the production floor
• Must wear appropriate PPE for all work activities performed; varies based work
