ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT at Peninsula School District

Overview

The Activity Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during recess and lunch periods, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all. The position is listed as 3 hours at Minter Creek Elementary.

Responsibilities

  • Support student safety and supervision during school-related activities, including recess and lunch periods.
  • Perform special assignments and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a school setting desirable.

Licenses and Special Requirements

  • Must complete and maintain First Aid and CPR training.
  • Must complete Safe Schools training modules annually.

This position is not projected to meet the 630 hours of employment for this school year. Upon hire, hours may accrue toward future benefit eligibility; notifications will be shared by the Payroll Department if eligible.
