Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures across various locations such as clinics, emergency rooms, special procedures rooms, operating rooms, and patient rooms, supporting physicians in diagnosing disease and injuries.

• Perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures, operating radiographic equipment to produce accurate images.
• Prepare and operate equipment, set correct exposure parameters based on physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, maintain optimal diagnostic quality, and comply with regulatory and safety standards.
• Provide patient care for all age groups during imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient records, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and perform general office duties as needed.
• Assist in training Radiology Technology students.
• Stay current with FHS standards, protocols, continuing education, and departmental meetings.

• Prepare/operate radiology equipment according to correct size, depth, and detail for requested exposure areas.
• Deliver patient care for all age groups during radiological exams or special procedures.
• Perform incidental general office duties, including answering phone, scheduling, filing, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
• Participate in training of Radiology Technology students.

• Graduation from an accredited School of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience, acquired through practical education/training that demonstrates the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience involving the current technical aspects of patient care in a radiology department is preferred.

• Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Current Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
