A highly respected, SLP-owned outpatient clinic is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve as a Clinical Director at its Gig Harbor location.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys both clinical work and leadership. The role is approximately 50% clinical and 50% administrative, allowing you to maintain a caseload while helping support the clinical team, shape programming, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
The clinic serves a diverse caseload, including a large traumatic brain injury (TBI) population
, along with both pediatric and adult patients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across age groups and bring strong clinical versatility.
- Estimated salary of $110,000–$130,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- True 50/50 split between clinical caseload and administrative/clinical leadership responsibilities
- Gig Harbor location only

- Approximately 50% direct patient care and 50% administrative/clinical leadership
- Maintain a diverse caseload of both pediatric and adult patients
- Significant exposure to TBI and other neurologic diagnoses
- Adult caseload may include cognitive-communication disorders, aphasia, dysphagia, and other acquired communication disorders
- Pediatric caseload may include speech, language, and other developmental communication needs
- Provide mentorship and clinical support to other SLPs
- Help support clinical quality, consistency, and best practices across the team
- Participate in case consultation, clinician development, and team collaboration
- Assist with onboarding and supporting clinicians as needed
- Help develop and grow clinical services based on patient and team needs
- Full administrative support with scheduling, billing, and operational responsibilities handled by the appropriate team members
- Experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with strong clinical judgment
- Comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patients
- Strong experience with TBI, neuro, cognitive-communication, or medically based populations
- Pediatric experience and the ability to confidently treat a pediatric caseload
- Previous leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Confident, adaptable clinician who enjoys supporting and developing other therapists
- Interested in balancing hands-on clinical work with meaningful leadership responsibilities
