GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

PURPOSE:

To build up the community (Parish Life) of Parish Family 52 and to help build a culture of intentional discipleship.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:

COMMUNITY BUILDER

• Plans Parish Life calendar in collaboration with the Pastor, Parish Councils, DOO, PA of Stewardship, and other stakeholders, ensuring a variety of community events and retreats across the Parish Family.
• In Collaboration with the PA of Stewardship, develops and distributes written materials pertaining to volunteerism and parish participation
• In Collaboration with the Welcoming Committee, oversees quarterly newcomer receptions and all other efforts designed to welcome new parishioners.
• Plans and delivers promotion campaigns for key St Nicholas events.

MINISTRY COORDINATOR

• Serves as the point of contact and liaison for all Ministries at our St Nicholas Campus
  • Regularly contacts Ministries to see how the parish can support them.
  • Ensures Ministry descriptions and contact information is up to date on the website.
• Helps new ministries at our St Nicholas Campus become established; helps them through initial approval and trains them in parish policies.
• Organizes the Meet the Ministry Sunday Hospitality at St Nicholas
• In collaboration with a Welcoming Committee, connects parishioners to ministries by planning, staffing and implementing St Nicholas Ministry Fairs.

EVENTS MANAGER

• Ensures St. Nicholas Parish Events (e.g. Tolentino Festival, retreats, conferences, Parish Missions, etc.) are sufficiently staffed by volunteer committees and oversees event execution

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
