American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift acute care position requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and a WA or compact RN license.

• Acute care Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit on the 4th floor with 96 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 with nurse aide support at 1:8-16
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, pneumonia, general surgical, and medical telemetry patients
• 16 telemetry-capable beds with monitor techs; RNs validate and read strips
• RNs required to titrate drips including Heparin, blood, and IV fluids
• Charge Nurse and House Supervisor support available on unit
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a), 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirements based on unit needs and demands
• Floating required within scope for all RNs
• No call or standby requirement; as needed per census
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active WA or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

• Validate and read telemetry strips in collaboration with monitor techs
• Unit-specific orientation coordinated with onboarding, consisting of 3 shifts
• Holiday coverage required for 2026
• Dress code requires navy scrub top and bottom
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
