- You are an experienced Veterinary Assistant with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care.
- Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!
- You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority and are dedicated to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
- You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary assistant including (but not limited to):
- Patient assessment and physical examinations
- Phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
- Anesthesia monitoring proficiency
- Perioperative surgical nursing skills
- Routine dental prophylaxis experience
- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures
- Full time positions include 4 shifts per week (32-38hrs)
- Rotating weekend duties
- Part-time opportunities may be available
- Hospital hours are:
- Tuesday – Friday 9am‑6pm
- Saturday: 9am – 3pm
Compensation: $20‑$25/hr depending on experience.
