Emergency Veterinarian

An incredible opportunity awaits an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join a state-of-the-art, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Gig Harbor, WA, part of a collaborative network of top-tier partner hospitals. This role allows you to provide life-saving emergency care in a supportive, high-tech environment—while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.

• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of critical and emergent conditions

• Perform emergency surgeries and soft tissue procedures

• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care

• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes to pet owners with empathy and clarity

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts across a network of veterinary professionals

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in emergency/critical care veterinary medicine

• Clinical Skills: Confident in emergency decision-making, diagnostics, and surgical interventions

• Communication: Excellent bedside manner and communication with both clients and colleagues

• Teamwork: Collaborative, calm under pressure, and committed to supporting fellow team members
