The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of ensuring a great customer experience and maximum profitability. Responsibilities- Drive for Results:
Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommends merchandise selections or helps to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. - Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; maintain pricing and visual standards.
- Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by Management.
- Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.

Experience:
Promote MAPS principles and standards as demonstrated in selling models and offer a cohesive omni channel experience. - Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast, efficient register experience; stay current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices.
- Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals including gift card sales; sign up clients for the reward program.
- Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing; know current product fit and style offerings in store and online.
- Maintain consistent client communication using clienteling tools (Style Connect and Customer Book).
- Operational Excellence:
Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant; assist with locate fulfillment; assist with boutique cleanliness and organization and with visual directives as directed. - Teamwork and Growth:
Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving; seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback; perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Retail or sales experience preferred
- For certain states, must be 16 or older; for all other states, must be 18 or older
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management
- Regular attendance and a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Constant walking/standing (67-100% of an 8-hour shift)
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs (1-33% of an 8-hour shift)
- Frequent climbing (34-66% of an 8-hour shift)
The wage range for this position is $16.66 to $20.80 per hour. Final wage rates are determined based on individual qualifications.
