General Merchandise (GM) and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store. They enable efficient delivery to guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests to solve their specific needs with a welcoming approach.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their decision to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and posting promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes such as changing prices, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders), while complying with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders when required.
• Handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties, including drive-up or carryout roles.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
