Assistant Manager – Compensation: $16.66–$24 per hour.

About the Job

As the leader of the team, you ensure that everyone performs their responsibilities, not only in the store but also when we serve customers on the road. You oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintain standards, manage costs, and keep customer service levels high. This is the next step in a Domino's career.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage overall shift operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relationships.
  • Set the example for staff, enforcing all company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Ensure team adherence to standards and provide continuous coaching.
  • Handle food safety and quality while supervising food preparation and delivery.
  • Oversee cash handling, including daily reconciliations and accurate deposit of funds.
  • Coordinate with delivery staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for delivery.
  • Strong leadership, judgment, math, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to use a computer, telephone, and cash register.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks (see Physical Demands below).

Physical Demands

Job requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting as described:

  • Bending: forward bending at waist for pizza assembly, at front counter, and stocking ingredients.
  • Squatting/Crouching: occasional for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
  • Reaching: up, down, forward; above 72 inches to adjust ovens, change prices, and reach storage.
  • Hand tasks: use of hands and coordination to shape dough, handle pizza peel, roll cutter, and box assembly.
  • Driving: deliver products by car, drive within designated area, possibly navigate stairs.
  • Carrying: load pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.

Work

Conditions:

Exposure to varying weather when delivering, need for vision while driving, and ability to operate within a busy store environment.
