Pediatric Hospitalist locums coverage in Arizona, supporting a new hospital opening with a steady need for at least 4 shifts per month from mid February 2027 through fall 2027.

• Ongoing coverage need, minimum of 4 shifts per month available from mid February 2027 through fall 2027
• Mixed service, approximately 50% healthy newborns and 50% pediatrics
• Defined volumes, about 10 to 20 newborns and 10 to 14 pediatric patients
• Will wait for an Arizona license with an active IMLC LOQ

• Inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage, floor based
• Patient mix split between healthy newborns and pediatric inpatients
• Typical volumes, 10 to 20 newborns and 10 to 14 pediatric patients
• Vacancy driver, new hospital opening with active recruitment

• Coverage window runs from mid February 2027 likely through fall 2027
• Minimum availability requested, 4 shifts per month
• Shift options include daytime coverage on the newborn side, extended day coverage on acute care pediatrics, and overnight coverage of both services

• Lumbar punctures required for physicians working the floor
• Circumcisions optional

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, or board eligible within 5 years
• Arizona license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only
• Required certifications include BLS, PALS, and DEA
