Position Title: Student Pastor
Campus: Gilbert

Reports to: Lead Student Pastor
Status: Full-time Exempt

The Student Pastor will create an exciting and engaging environment. Lead students to discover and fully own faith in Jesus, reaching and engaging disconnected students in the community. This position connects to the faith and ministry of the church. The Student Pastor position moves forward the vision of Central.

• Create a safe and engaging environment that attract students
• Connect students to the Central Student Ministry
• Develop students for the next step in their faith
• Participate as a Student Team Member
• Attend all student events and summer camps
• Plan, lead, and execute Kingdom Worker Trips
• Run, plan, and execute a student leadership team
• Create an engaging environment on Sunday mornings for students and families
• Execute and own CSM Programming
• Manage communication between Student Team and Campus Pastor
• Provide and implement strategic leadership and initiatives for student ministry
• Develop and adhere to safety procedures, in cooperation with Campus and Leadership teams
• Develop, maintain, and grow partnerships with families, school administrators, and organizations
• Develop, maintain, and grow Sunday morning engagement for Students in the Worship Center
• Other duties as assigned

• Recruit, develop and empower students to serve in other ministries
• Develop and equip a student leadership team
• Recruiting leaders and developing and equipping them so they can lead students to Jesus
• Attend all church wide/campus specific events
• Attend weekly team meetings in student ministries as required
• Attend Campus Lead Team meetings as required
• Pastor-on-Call Rotation
• Other duties as assigned

• Three years experience in management preferred
• Experience leading student ministry
• Experience in multi-site campuses
• Familiar with the popular culture of students
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Self motivated
• Ability to work as a member of a team

• Must align with the vision, and values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing Central no harm.
• Growing in your personal relationship with Christ.
• Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the Church.

• Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian Church employees, defined by the Employee Handbook.
• Financially support the vision of Central Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.
• Be an active Owner at Central Christian Church, making every effort to uphold the six core values of Central.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to twenty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
