We serve customers across the Southwest and have completed projects in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Colorado.

Loenbro Southwest is seeking a Chief Civil, Structural and Architectural Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the preconstruction estimating process, ensuring accurate and competitive cost assessments for projects, develop and manage budgets, conduct value engineering, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, training, and support.

• Develop clear project scopes and analyze project requirements to identify potential risks and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns, project timelines, and scope of work.
• Review architectural, structural, and civil plans and specifications to identify design‑related issues and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of Civil, Structural, and Architectural estimating experience.
• Proficiency in estimating software, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates and proposals.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Ability to walk job sites, including uneven surfaces and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Travel out of state as required.
