Principal Electronics Engineer (Level
3) – Gilbert, AZ.

• General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
• Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
• Understands NG test engineering practices and principles.
• Understands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE.
• Supports EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer.
• Able to work independently to complete tasks and knows when to ask for help.
• Fully grasps escalation plan when test errors are encountered and understands when to proceed per NG/program process. Participates in anomaly resolution process while offering technical solutions for FRB approval.
• Travel and support different shifts when required.
• Works under general supervision.
• Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.
• Follows established procedures.
• Has technical insight and experience to know if test set‑up and results make sense.
• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
• Ability to establish and maintain infrequent inter‑organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
• Coordinates with ITEE team lead, electrical technicians, and I&T managers to complete tasking. May participate, prepare, and present material in program review boards (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs, FRBs, etc).

• Electronics Engineer 3:
  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Demonstrate ability to listen effectively, take direction, and possess initiative to accomplish assigned tasks and complete work in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance & special program access.

• Active DoD TS/SCI or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years.
• Experience with any of the following:
  Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabVIEW.
• Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting.
• Experience in electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, environments testing (vibration analysis/thermal vacuum chamber testing).
• Experience in automated test equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Programming experience with any of the following languages:
  Python, C, C++.
• Experience in aerospace or defense industry (development or test).

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 – $. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
