Our Tactical Space Systems Division Integration and Test group is seeking a Test Conductor (Integration and Test) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Gilbert, AZ. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment. The ideal candidate has system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware and good computer skills.

Daily responsibilities will require test preparation leading to direct contact with satellite and space flight hardware. Candidate must be able to tackle issues utilizing skills obtained in the field of electrical engineering, or a related discipline, preferably as it relates to system level integration and test. Required skills include the ability to communicate clearly, and to use critical thinking in troubleshoot of problems.

The ability to use a scripting language and formulate automated test scripts is highly desirable. International travel to support launch campaigns may be required. Shift and weekend work to support testing will be required periodically.

• Design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment.
• Perform test preparation and direct contact with satellite and space flight hardware.
• Apply electrical engineering knowledge to system-level integration and test; troubleshoot with clear communication and critical thinking.
• Utilize scripting languages to formulate automated test scripts (highly desirable).
• Travel internationally to support launch campaigns may be required; shift and weekend work to support testing will be required periodically.
• Support EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts with little to no oversight.
• Contribute to anomaly resolution processes and assist with FRB approvals.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams as required; follow established procedures.
• Assess test setup and results for consistency and validity; contribute to milestone achievements.

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a master’s degree with 0 years of related engineering experience (4 additional years of work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Demonstrated ability to listen effectively, take direction, and show initiative to accomplish tasks and complete work timely.
• Ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based on previous experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance & special program access.

• Experience with Microsoft Visio and National Instruments LabVIEW.
• Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting.
• Minimum of two years of directly related experience in satellite test.
• Understanding of electrical test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, DMMs, signal generators).
• Experience in electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, and environments testing (vibration analysis/thermal vacuum chamber testing).
• Programming experience with Python, C, or C++.
• Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test).
