Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will concept and design turn key full automated solutions. Designs will be tied closely to customer defined scope of work and fall within our design standards. These designs will incorporate motion products, pneumatics, robotics, machine vision, parts feeders, weldments, and tooling. A strong knowledge of tooling and fixturing a plus as well as work with robotics and other motion systems.

• Perform Solidworks conceptual and design activities as needed
• Design and maintain system 3d models and drawing packages
• Maintain relations with customers and update them as needed with project schedules, project status, and schedule meetings.
• Assist with customer site visits, onsite service, installation, and other items related to customer projects as needed
• Update/create operation manuals for software, equipment operation, and general operator interface as needed
• Assist with Mechanical assembly, debug, troubleshooting, and testing as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or at least 4+ years' of industry experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical designs, tolerances, stackups, FEA analysis
