Assessment Specialist
Full-time Night Shift (Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am)

What you will do in this role:
- Handle inquiry calls and assist callers with scheduling face-to-face assessments or triage referrals
- Ensure assessments are conducted by qualified mental health professionals
- Screen for medical and behavioral emergencies
- Perform comprehensive assessments and provide therapeutic care for patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric/emotional disorders; coordinate with clinical team or on-call physicians to meet patient needs either at the facility or community providers
- Interpret treatment plans to patients and families to reduce fear and improve acceptance and adherence to care
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling; current unencumbered license as per state guidelines
- Valid driver’s license, favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and proof of insurance if using personal vehicle
- CPR and CPI certification within 30 days of hire
- Previous experience in psychiatric healthcare with adult and geriatric populations preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills required
