Position Overview:

Ensure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance according to Strive Pharmacy SOP's.

• Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
• Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non‑sterile labs
• Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance
• Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists
• Counseling patients
• Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
  
  D) Degree
• Active AZ Pharmacist license

• Experience in compounding preferred
• Understanding of aseptic technique
• Familiar with USP guidelines
