Description
  • Lead and manage the Disclosure Desk team, providing training, support, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the preparation and issuance of all disclosure documents, including LEs and CDs, ensuring regulatory compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor team workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure disclosure timelines are met across all loans.
  • Review complex loan files for accuracy and compliance with TRID, TILA, RESPA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for disclosure-related questions from internal departments such as Processing, Underwriting, and Sales.
  • Conduct regular audits of disclosure files to ensure quality control and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Legal teams to implement changes based on new regulations or investor guidelines.
  • Maintain and improve disclosure desk processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service levels.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and provide regulatory updates and procedural guidance.
  • Identify process gaps or risks and develop action plans for resolution or improvement.
  • Ensure team adherence to company policies, disclosure protocols, and service-level expectations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of mortgage industry experience, with a strong background in Non-QM disclosures.
  • 1+ year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role within a mortgage operations environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of TRID, RESPA, TILA, and federal/state compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency with Meridian Link LOS and disclosure-related technology platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including coaching, delegation, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and resolve complex issues.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
