Cardiac Telemetry Nurse

Job Summary

Cardiac Telemetry Nurse responsible for providing clinical expertise and oversight to patients with cardiac issues at Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

• The CARDIAC TELEMETRY department cares for telemetry patients with an emphasis on patients with heart issues.
• Registered Nurse who shares the same passion for our critically ill patients to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence‑based practice.
• All staff nurses are expected to practice autonomously consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.
• Assess patient/family health problems and resources taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
• Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.

• Preferred:
  One (1) year RN telemetry experience.
• ADN, diploma, or foreign equivalent. Preferred: BSN.
• Current AZ State RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider card.
• American Heart Association ACLS card (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).

After 180 days of employment, eligible employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years (full‑time) or up to $9,000 (part‑time) as debt relief and student loan assistance.
