Description

About the Role: As a Property Management HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems for property management companies. You will handle work orders placed by residents, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform service, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems in rental properties, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues based on work orders submitted by property management companies.

Complete all assigned work orders efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Communicate effectively with property managers regarding repairs, maintenance updates, and any necessary follow-up services.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Repair or replace components such as motors, fans, thermostats, and filters as needed.

Accurately document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used, for property management records.

Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
