The Exercise Coach® is dedicated to helping women and men of all ages achieve their health and fitness goals through customized physical conditioning programs and the use of our proprietary technology.
Seeking a Personal Trainer or Physical Therapy Technician, preferably with a degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology, interested in working as a Part-Time Exercise Coach (Personal Trainer) in a fun, team-based environment where we work with clients 1-on-1 to transform their health and fitness in only 20 minutes, twice a week.
We are looking for a PART-TIME Coach who should have availability to work afternoons/evenings (2p-8p) and Saturdays (7a-1p). Our PART-TIME - EVENING Coaches typically will work the afternoon/evening shift, with rotating Saturdays. Must currently live in the Greater Phoenix Area, preferably in or near the Gilbert area, or be comfortable commuting to Gilbert. A university degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field is preferred, along with at least 2 years of personal training and/or physical therapy technician experience.
Our studio offers a casual, fun environment, top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful personal training studio. We want someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities And Duties- Develop Comprehensive Health & Fitness Programs for Clients:
You'll receive coaching and training on our fitness system, and you'll have to incorporate knowledge into safe, effective exercise programming. - Tracking Client Progress:
Track weekly progress, current successes and challenges, review client nutrition and exercise log worksheets, and hold clients accountable to their health and fitness program to ensure the best possible results. - Perform Fitness Evaluations:
Conduct body composition evaluations, body weight and girth measurements, blood pressure and heart rate, and various physical performance tests. You will be trained on how to use our proprietary technology and other resources to perform required tests and interpret results for clients. - Coach clients through program duration:
Be responsible for weekly exercise sessions and keep detailed notes on clients; coach and motivate clients and adjust as needed to ensure progress. - Demonstrate Proper Exercise Instruction:
Provide proper instruction during client training sessions; have working knowledge of the human body and appropriate exercises; demonstrate when necessary. - Provide Ongoing Health and Fitness
Education:
Provide clients with health and fitness education using educational tools; study provided resources and discuss them with clients; attended studio staff meetings. - Lead Follow Up and Conduct Consultations:
Respond to leads in a timely manner and follow up with leads to schedule free fitness consultations and trial sessions; comfortable on the phone and presenting pricing information to prospective clients. - Studio Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio; notify the Lead Coach of any required repairs.

- Strong organizational skills
- Certification: MUST be willing to successfully complete The Exercise Coach Certifications within 30 days of hire. (Compensated for time to complete certification).
- CPR/AED Certification:
Must possess or be willing to obtain CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.
- Brand Loyalty and Proactive Sales:
Demonstrate the value of our brand by actively participating in the fitness program and selling/marketing our program to clients or prospective clients.
