Lifeguard - Aquatics Summer Season

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for Lifeguards for the upcoming season!

• Knowledge of swimming pool health regulations, laws, and ordinances governing public swimming pool operation.
• Good physical condition and stamina required.
• Star Guard ELITE Lifeguard Training Certificate (Lifeguard).
• Age requirement: 15+ years.
• Must be able to work consistently from mid‑May through early August with minimal time off.
• Personal cell phone preferred to clock in and out of shifts.

Lifeguard

Salary: $19.86 per hour; 25–30 hours per week.

• Monitor activities in the pool area to identify and prevent safety concerns.
• Provide quality customer service to patrons by greeting and answering questions.
• Enforce facility and pool rules to maintain patron safety.
• Provide safety coaching or teaching of aquatic skills and activities.
• Resolve conflicts, adapt to participants' needs/behaviors, respond to emergency situations, and enforce policies and procedures.

Applicants must provide a copy of their certifications or proof of current class enrollment (for Lifeguard and Swim Instructor candidates).
