Parts Driver

Description

A Parts Driver picks-up and delivers parts for the dealership. Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards. Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.

• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable company policy and procedures and traffic laws and regulations
• Observe rules of the road and demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques
• Update status of runs and provide other pertinent information
• Notify Parts Manager of any issues with the Parts truck, including when maintenance is due
• Report any accidents or damage immediately
• Maintain the cleanliness of the parts truck.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual or automatic transmission
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Focused, dependable, honest and trustworthy
• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
