Job Description
Wood is looking for a Pumper Technician to work in the Powder River Basin area near Gillette, Wyoming.

Responsibilities- Responsible for safety and the accurate installation and maintenance of pumping units as per work instructions and guidance from a supervisor.
- Servicing of oilfield equipment, including dismantling, repairing, assembling and other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Work is outdoors, physically demanding in all weather conditions.
- Travel to well site locations and assist in servicing/troubleshooting performance problems associated with the product line of the service department.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and deal with customers as required while servicing equipment.
- Work on any of the oilfield equipment.
- Operate Wood company vehicles in compliance with company policy, external customer requirements, and government regulations (Department of Transportation standards). Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability of working overtime.
- Effective problem solver.
- Ability to follow set work instructions from binder and computer.
- Familiarity with work processes and ability to anticipate the next step.
- Successful completion of required safety courses as designated by Wood.
- Prior pumping units or oilfield experience preferred but not required.
- Safety‑minded individual, willingness and commitment to receive required and ongoing mandatory safety training as a condition of employment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a team atmosphere.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing.
