* Job description
* * Main purpose of job:
* * To carry out servicing, repairs and replacement on vehicles as per written instructions or as directed by supervision or management.
* Carry out MOT tests in accordance with VOSA guidelines.
* To maintain the highest levels of workmanship at all times.
* Main objectives, key tasks and responsibilities*.
1) Repair and servicing of motor vehicles as instructed within as far as possible ICME repair times, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
2) To report any additional defects requiring attention.
3) Complete write-up work carried out on the job card.
4) To maintain an up to date knowledge of vehicle service and repair procedures.
5) To record any consumables used
6) To return all exchange/ returnable items in a clean and complete condition.
7) Maintain own and Autotechnics tools in a safe and clean condition.
8) To keep working area clean and tidy and mop up any spilt oil/ fluids immediately.
9) To keep any displaced parts for at least 48 hours.
10) To use safety goggles and protective gloves supplied by Autotechnics and report any defects to the Partners.
