Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with an Special school to recruit a SEND Teacher to support Primary aged children (5–11 years) with ASD, SEMH and Complex learning difficulties.

About the School

The school supports learners with a wide range of needs, including profound and severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism, medical and communication needs. The school is well resourced and staffed by a committed multidisciplinary team, including specialist teaching assistants, therapists and support professionals.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging, personalised learning tailored to pupils with complex needs
Plan and assess learning in line with EHCP outcomes
Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
Monitor progress and contribute to reviews and reports
Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We welcome applications from experienced SEND teachers and teachers with a strong interest in specialist education.

You will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have experience or a genuine passion for working with pupils with profound, severe and complex needs
Be patient, resilient and flexible in your approach
Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
