At Neal's Yard Remedies, we've been creating award-winning natural and organic health and beauty products for 45 years. Our products are made using ethically sourced ingredients, and we're committed to doing business in a way that's good for people and the planet.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

The role

As Purchasing Coordinator, you'll be responsible for helping to ensure the timely supply of raw materials and/or packaging needed to manufacture our products. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you'll coordinate purchase orders, manage inventory-related activities and support the smooth flow of materials through our supply chain.

You'll become a vital link between Purchasing, Planning, Production, Warehousing, Quality and Product Development, helping us maintain high service levels while supporting business growth.

What you'll be doing
  • Raising and managing purchase orders for raw materials and packaging.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and following up on deliveries and order confirmations.
  • Coordinating inbound deliveries and supporting supplier communications.
  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying potential supply risks.
  • Working closely with Planning and Production teams to maintain material availability.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier and product data within our ERP system.
  • Producing reports and KPIs to support purchasing performance.
  • Supporting inventory accuracy, stock audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring purchasing activities comply with company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys building strong working relationships.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement coordination or supply chain administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using ERP or MRP systems (desirable).
  • Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, beauty or product-based environments (desirable).
  • Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes (desirable).
Why join us?

In return, you'll join a collaborative and friendly team within a business that's passionate about sustainability, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
