Workshop Assistant​/Production Operative

Workshop Assistant - Gillingham £13.28 per hour Monday to Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm We're looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly manufacturing team in Gillingham . This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who's confident using hand tools , can follow assembly instructions , and enjoys practical work. What You'll Be Doing:
Working with hand tools to measure, drill, cut, and assemble materials Following written and verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks Supporting the team to keep the workshop running smoothly and safely Using workshop equipment to produce high-quality work Checking your work meets quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

Some experience in a workshop or similar environment Confident using hand tools Able to read and follow basic assembly instructions or drawings Good attention to detail A team player with a strong work ethic Reliable, punctual, and honest Benefits:
