• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including infections, allergies, respiratory conditions, and more.
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Provide preventative care services, including immunizations, cancer screenings, and health education.
• Perform minor procedures such as skin biopsies, joint injections, and wound care (within state regulations).
• Collaborate with specialists when needed to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Engage in continuing education to stay current on family medicine advancements.

• Strong clinical knowledge across medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in physical examinations and minor procedures.
• Critical thinking and decision‑making for diagnosis and management.
• Effective time management and organization to handle patient workload.
• Preventive care expertise and patient education.
• Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in family medicine accredited by ACGME or AOA.

• Board certification in family medicine (ABFM or AOA).
• Active and unrestricted medical license in California.

Preferably at least one year of primary care experience.

• Temporary assignment lasting weeks or months to fill staffing gaps.
