Employment Type: Permanent
Compensation: $48- $55 per hour
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a supportive skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation team in Gilroy, CA. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will carry out individualized treatment plans and help patients progress toward meaningful functional goals.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance,mobility, and functional training.
- Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active CA PTA license in good standing, or eligibility for licensures.
- Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
- Strong communication, documentation, teamwork,and patient-care skills.
- Experience in the applicable setting preferred.
