Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.

• Commercial landscape experience preferred, but requiredli>

• Valid Driver’s License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.

• Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members
• Bi‑lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
• Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks
• Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
• Frequently exposed to loud noise levels

• Ensure job site is maintained as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
• Safe operation of equipment, including 21” and 36” mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
• Basic understanding of Plant
• Basic hand pruning skills
• Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy
• Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
• Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
• All other duties as assigned.

• Gardener with Driver’s License: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Gardener without Driver’s License: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
