Role Description The Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position located in Gilroy, CA. This role involves greeting customers, learning about their travel needs, and guiding them through the selection of motorhomes and towable RVs. The Salesperson will provide detailed product information, conduct walk-throughs and demonstrations, prepare quotes, and support customers through financing and purchase processes. Daily tasks include following up with leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, coordinating with Service and Parts teams, and ensuring the showroom and lot are well-presented.

The role also includes participating in promotional events, staying current on inventory and manufacturer updates, and contributing to a positive, professional dealership atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service:
  Proven experience in retail or vehicle/RV sales, strong customer service focus, and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Communication and interpersonal skills:
  Clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical features in accessible terms.
• Product and technical understanding:
  Willingness to learn RV models, features, and basic technical details, with the ability to match products to customer needs.
• Organization and technology:
  Comfort using CRM or sales software, email, and basic office applications; strong organization, follow-up, and time management skills.
• Negotiation and closing abilities:
  Skill in guiding customers through pricing, financing options, and purchase decisions in a respectful, ethical manner.
• Teamwork and professionalism:
  Ability to collaborate with Service, Parts, and Rental departments while maintaining a professional, respectful demeanor with colleagues and customers.
• Licenses and experience:
  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; prior experience in automotive, RV, or outdoor recreation sales is preferred but not required.
• Education and work style:
  High school diploma or equivalent; ability to work on-site full time, including some weekends and holidays as needed.
