Mechanical Controls Integration Engineer

Position: Mechanical Controls Integration Engineer Role
Nscale seeks a Mechanical Controls Integration Engineer to enhance cooling systems across AI-powered infrastructure. This role ensures seamless integration within our PLC and SCADA architectures.

In this position, you will bridge mechanical designs with vendor equipment to meet Nscale's controls standards. You will collaborate with internal controls engineers, OEMs, and commissioning teams, focusing on mission-critical cooling systems like CDUs and chillers. Your expertise will guarantee reliable and efficient operations, supporting scalable and repeatable deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as SME for cooling systems design and integration

• Review control documentation for compliance with standards

• Validate sensor designs and control interfaces

• Support manufacturing design for modular data center equipment

• Participate in risk assessments and project lifecycle reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical systems, preferably in data centers

• Proficient in reading P&IDs and control documentation

• Solid understanding of PLC-based control concepts

• Strong communication skills across disciplines
