York Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based applications.
In this role, you’ll build and enhance new features while helping address technical debt. You’ll write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices around unit testing, automated testing, and CI/CD. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, remove roadblocks, and deliver reliable, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in cloud-native environments
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with .NET and React
- 5+ years of experience working with Non‑SQL databases (Couchbase), GKE, NGINX, and microservices architecture
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with TDD and CI/CD processes
- Proven system design and analytical skills
- Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous architecture
- Knowledge of data modeling and database theory
- Healthcare integration experience (DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
- Experience designing and securing APIs (REST, OAuth, JWT, gRPC)
