Canadian Blood Services seeks one temporary part-time Driver Material Handler for its Logistics team through April 30, 2027. You will transport personnel, donors, equipment, blood products, and supplies while supporting fixed and mobile donor centres. The work combines driving, event setup, donor assistance, documentation, and technology support.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport blood products at appropriate temperatures
- Complete pre-trip inspections and required documentation
- Greet donors and assist appointment booking
- Set up booths, equipment, systems, and Wi-Fi
- Load, unload, carry, and dismantle supplies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Nova Scotia Class 2 driver's licence
- Clean commercial driver's abstract from the last 30 days
- Twenty-four months professional commercial driving experience within three years
- Basic computer skills and effective English communication
