Mechanical Engineer-in-Training Position

IAMGOLD is looking for two individuals passionate about mechanical engineering and sustainability. As a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training, you will engage in maintenance activities and project work, gaining hands-on experience with mechanical systems. This position emphasizes mentorship, rotation through various departments, and preparing you for P.Eng licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive maintenance on mechanical systems

• Assist with design and installation projects

• Analyze and address mechanical issues effectively

• Follow safety and compliance procedures rigorously

• Document project progress and maintain technical records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential

• Must be working towards P.Eng Certification in Ontario

• Exceptional analytical skills and data proficiency

• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly

• Motivated to learn and adapt within different project areas
