Hours per week: 22 hpw (with the possibility of increasing up to 30 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $34.19 - $35.64 (pending experience)

Your RoleWe are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate educator for the position of Classroom Support Assistant (First Nations Education) to join our team at Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, Gladstone. This is a term‑time continuing position for 22 hpw, commencing from 22 January 2026 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
Selection CriteriaThe Successful Applicant Should Be Able To Demonstrate
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and spiritualities.
- An ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, their families and school staff to improve educational outcomes through targeted and direct academic support.

What We Offer- Competitive salary range – School Officer Level 3 hourly rate from $34.19 – $35.64.
